A Young Woman Engages In Heavy Drinking And Finds Extraordinary Help At An Alcohol Rehabilitation Clinic For Symptoms Of Alcohol Withdrawal And Alcoholism Symptoms

Beth was the mother of two children. Beth had been feeling very tense lately and started to "medicate" herself by having a few screwdrivers each night after she put her children to bed. After nearly seven weeks of this drinking routine, she at long last understood the fact that rather than helping her "lighten up" and deal with her issues, drinking made her feel less tranquil when she got up in the morning. This, in turn, made her feel more stressed throughout the .

After thinking deeply about her predicament for three or four days, Beth decided to talk about her drinking situation with her closest friend. In fact, just about five minutes into their discussion, Beth's best friend Helen, mentioned that she knew about a very knowledgeable and highly qualified physician at the local drug and alcohol abuse treatment center. After talking to her closest friend, Beth immediately got encouraged to call the rehabilitation facility and make an appointment.

Nine days later she finally got to meet the psychiatrist her best friend had talked about. After their short-and-to-the-point introduction, Beth explained to the doctor that ever since her ex-husband and she got divorced, she has been having an extremely difficult time financially, spiritually, and psychologically.

As Beth was talking to the psychiatrist, she underlined the point that she really thought that she and Robert waited long enough to know one another well enough before they got married. After the kids started to arrive, however, just about everything appeared to fall apart. Furthermore, both she and Robert began to drink, and their abusive and irresponsible drinking adversely impacted their finances, their love for one another, and their relationship.

The psychiatrist explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been going through are due to her careless drinking. The physician also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the usual symptoms of alcoholism and that the best solution for this state of affairs is alcohol rehabilitation.

After spending three months in residential alcohol rehab, Beth was gradually able to understand that the real basis of her stress and her depression was that she had not gotten to the bottom of her resentful feelings she has expressed for her ex-husband who divorced her. In short, Beth let these feelings upset her so much that she became an alcoholic.

With these insights and with the drugs her doctor prescribed, she finally stopped drinking, she started to feel significantly less depressed, and she started scheduling time for social events with her friends and family. What is more, a few months after getting rehab from her psychiatrist, began to date once again.

It was clear that Beth had certainly come a long way. In fact, just about four months after she completed her counseling, Beth had finally laid the depressing feelings of Robert, her ex-husband, to rest and was beginning to feel more self esteem and more spiritually "sound" and emotionally "with it" than she had ever felt in her adult life.
